Academic contests will be offered in the following categories:

There are separate Level I, Level II, and Advanced tests for Grammar, Derivatives and Vocabulary. A minimum score of 22 is required on these tests to receive an award.


There are NOT separate Level I, Level II, and Advanced tests for the following: Classical Art; Customs; Geography; Greek Literature; Hellenic History; Greek Derivatives; History of the Empire; History of the Monarchy and Republic; Latin Literature; Mythology; Phrases, Mottoes, Abbreviations, Quotations; Reading Comprehension-Poetry; Reading Comprehension-Prose. The following minimum scores are required to receive an award for these unleveled tests: Level I (16), Level II (20), Advanced (22).


There will be an additional test offered to all students for fun. Do not register for these tests: Pentathlon (Latin I); Heptathlon (Latin II and Advanced). A minimum score of 22 is required to receive an award.

Awards:
Derivatives, Grammar, Mythology, and Vocabulary:
Latin I - 1st though 3rd place: Trophy; 4th and 5th place: Ribbon
Latin II - 1st through 3rd place: Trophy; 4th and 5th place: Ribbon

Advanced - 1st through 3rd place: Trophy; 4th and 5th place: Ribbon

All other categories:
Latin I - 1st though 5th place: Ribbon

Latin II - 1st though 5th place: Ribbon
Advanced - 1st though 5th place: Ribbon
All students combined: 1st through 3rd place: Trophy

Top students in Pentathlon and Heptathlon may receive ribbons or trophies depending on budgetary feasibility.
